AOLA project (Austrian On-Line Archive)
Of Note: The goal of this project is to build an archive of the Austrian Web space. See also: Archiving the Internet: Challenges, Projects and the Austrian Perspective.

ARCHIPOL
Of Note: Project headed by the Documentation Centre for Dutch Political Parties (Documentatiecentrum Nederlandse politieke partijen; DNPP) and the Groningen University Library. The aim of the project is to archive the web sites of political parties in the Netherlands.

NEDLIB - Networked European Deposit Library
Of Note: 8 European National Libraries and partners create a framework for a networked deposit library.

Of Note: A one-year project exploring Danish web archiving.

Nordic Web Archive (NWA)
Of Note: The Nordic Web Archive (NWA) is the Nordic National Libraries' forum for co-ordination and exchange of experience in the fields of harvesting and archiving web documents. They are working on a toolset for Web archiving.

OCLC Web Characterization Project
Of Note: Conducts an annual Web sample to analyze trends in the size and content of the Web. Currently on hiatus.

OCLC digital archive
Of Note: A commercial digital archiving service integrated with other OCLC products.

Our Digital Island
Of Note: Provides access to Tasmanian Web sites that have been preserved for posterity by the State Library of Tasmania.

Pandora Project
PANDORA, Australia's Web Archive, is a selective archive of Australian online publications and web sites built by the National Library and nine other participating libraries and cultural collecting organisations to ensure long-term access to significant Australian web resources.

Political Communications Web Archiving
Of Note: A collaborative project funded by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation with CRL as the coordinating organization and Cornell University, New York University, Stanford University, the University of Texas at Austin, and the Internet Archive as partners in defining a collaborative Web archiving model.

Preserving Access to Digital Information (PADI)
Of Note: Another project of the National Library of Australia that developed the Safekept concept.

Preserving the Present for the Future - Conference on strategies for the Internet
Of Note: Proceedings can be downloaded from website, there are several papers from web archiving projects.

Paradigma (Preservation, Arrangement & Retrieval of Assorted DIGital MAterials)
Of Note: The National Library of Norway’s goal is to develop and establish routines for the collection and preservation of digital documents, and to give users access to these documents in compliance with The Legal Deposit Act.
